why are there two forums?

We have these forums hosted by proboards, but I also found these forums: stadiumcommunityforums.webs.com/apps/forums/

Personally, I think the other forums are more aesthetically appealling (excluding the joke banner of course), but they seem to be dead. Another plus to the "other forums" is that they are connected to the main site.

Whatever the pros and cons to both are, I think that only one of the two should stay; otherwise things will just be messy.

The reason why the proboards were created was because the webs forums won't allow you to edit your posts or topics, etc.

They do give you 10 minutes to edit, delete, or remove them, but after that, you can't do that.

Like Fofy said, they're like mental or something.

So we kept the Proboards.

makes sense, thats a pretty big limitation

if possible, maybe the webs forums should be deleted or hidden so as not to confuse people.

Yeah problems with the webs forum that they provided editing was an issue for the members so we decided to use proboards as are main forum. As dead as the webs site is we would like people to use it for putting up videos and other things like pictures as you can see as well. Though I think this will be a later goal first we got to get the forum here going good before we start focusing on the web one which is to be the main site.

133 youre bringing up a different topic, unconfirmed is saying theres 2 forums, youre talking about the whole site.

and i know a way to remove the webs forums from thier view, i just havent done it yet.

and icompletely agree the webs forums looks tons better and i would love to have them everything is perfect there, except for the editing feature which is annoying.

I just realized that now.

Anyways I went in and made it a little harder to find that forum for some odd reason I can not permanently delete and it says we deleted it already. Well either way it is more hidden now. I'll try to keep looking into it to see if there is a way to fully get rid of it :/

Edit: Forum issue taken care off now when you click that link you get redirected to the home page. Also the Forum on there is completely gone now.

well not completely gone, i noticed under my profiles recent activity (webs profile) it says i posted in a topic in thier forums. but when i click it i get redirected to home page.

so its fixed
