The rules topic is locked, so I couldn't form a reply there; instead, I hope its okay for me to make a topic about it here?

To quote the rules, the following offenses are worth a warning:

Warnings:

Malicious Link [minor]
Scamming
Phishing

In my opinion, all three of these things are serious issues, and the penalty should (in my opinion) be bumped up to atleast an infraction, if not an instant ban. Matters of internet security like these are not taken lightly on other sites, so I think the punishment on this site should follow suit (phishing, for example, is a criminal offense in many countries).

i thought about this too, especially malicous link, which is why theres [minor] next to it.
and now that i think about it, scamming seems like an infraction as well.
most of this depends on the seriousness of the offense.

Any feedback you have about the forum can go here, so I guess it's fine.

Have the admins decide about those offenses.

They'll change the rules.
