The Noobs Guide To Stadium Acronyms
Welcome, to this short guide in which I shall explain all thinkable acronyms that cover Stadium. I'm making this little guide because I sometimes hear people asking what all those acronyms mean. I'm sure Khaoc includes these acronyms in his guide. Either I make you this list now, and you'll get Khaoc's later or Khaoc might use this list for his guide. (If you haven't made it yet and you're satisfied with this,Please use it!) If I forget any term thinkable, let me know because I will add it. The guide commands are written for Game Cube controllers. I'll make a Table of Content so you can search up anything in no-time.

Lets begin!
I'll start with something many people already know off. I am adding this because I want to cover everything and people new to Smash might be confused about it. There are several ways to point out what attack you mean.
First, let's cover the movements.
Movements [MO]
SJ = Single Jump (Press X/Y or tap up once.)
DJ = Double Jump (Press X/Y or tap up twice.)
SH = Short Hop (Tap X/Y or tap up shortly once.)
Dash (Tap left or right to dash.)
Walk (Tilt left or right to walk.)
DI = Directional Influence (Huge subject, barely Stadium related. Here's a link to a DI guide.)
On to the directions.
N = Neutral (Don't tilt the analog stick and attack. This is only used for aerials. Grounded neutrals are called jabs.)
F = Forward (Tilt or tap the analog stick in the direction you are facing and press A)
U = Up (Tilt or tap the analog stick upwards and press A)
B = Back (Tilt or tap the analog stick in the direction you are not facing and press A)
D = Down (Tilt or tap the analog stick downwards and press A)
Z = Z button (Some characters like Link and Samus have an attack with the Z button. Press Z in the air to use this.)
Now, on to the type of attacks you can use.
Tilt = strong attack (Tilt your analog stick in any direction and press A to tilt.)
Smash = Smash attack (Tap the analog stick in any direction and press A at once to smash, You can also use the Cstick.)
Air = Aerial attack (Jump and press A in any, or no direction to do an aerial attack. Often used in the form of AxA.)
B = Special attack (Press B in any or no direction, with or without tap to preform a Special attack.)
Given the directions and attacks, people can make acronyms of their actions. They do this by combining the two terms. The following attacks are possible.
Uair/AUA - U_B - Usmash - Utilt
Fair/AFA - F_B - Fsmash - Ftilt
Dair/ADA - D_B - Dsmash - Dtilt
Nair/ANA - N_B
Bair/ABA
Zair/AZA
The AxA stands for 'Aerial' x=Direction 'A'. Some people prefer the xair, some people prefer the AxA. Use whatever you like best. That's it for the normal acronyms. Let's get a little more Stadium specific. First are some acronyms covering whole stadium.

FRO = Face Right Only (A BtT SuS Mode in which you must break all targets as fast as possible while facing right.)
Riddle (A BtT SuS Mode where mustn't touch the ground after the 1st target broke.)
Alright, first we handle the HRC mode. It's a confusing mode at first. The acronyms all seem similar. You'll learn them though. Let's start with Simple batmoves. Simple batmoves prove to be of great value to nearly every HRC strat. They're easy to preform.
Simple Batmoves [SB]
Bat release (Stand without tilting analog stick and press Z, doesn't have an acronym, I think.)
BT = Batthrow (Tilt and press Z for a light toss, tap and press Z for a hard throw.)
BD = Batdrop (Release the bat while in the air. Press Z without tilting to do so.)
Bat-jabs (Stand without tilting analog stick and press A while holding a bat to do a bat-jab. Rarely used.)
Bat-tilts (Tilt while holding the bat and press A to do a Bat-tilt. Rarely used, it has no acronym.)
Batswing (Tap and press A while holding a bat to preform a batswing.)
CH = Close Hit (Batswing while standing very close to the bag. 60M/200Ft less distance compared to a tipper.)
MH = Mid Hit (Batswing while standing a little from the bag. 30M/100Ft less distance compared to a tipper.)
Tipper (Batswing while standing in perfect position with the bag. Usually referred to as tip.)
Whiff (Batswing too far away from the bag, A.K.A. Missing.)
BiH = Bat in Hand (If you have no time to preform a batswing in the end, this is called a BiH.)
Most of these moves are very important and are used in about every HRC strat. Bat-jabs and Bat-tilts can be a CH, a MH and a tipper as well. But because they're almost never used, that's not really important. Batthrows can be combined with a direction as well. You can get
BTF = Batthrow Forward (Often used in the beginning of a run)
BTD = Batthrow Down (Sometimes used in the middle of a run for a quick damage racker.)
BTU = Batthrow Up (Sometimes used in the end of a strat along with a finisher.)
Alright, now we have handled that, let's move on to a bit more advanced batmoves.
Semi-advanced Batmoves [SAB]
Glide Toss (Roll and throw at the same time in the direction you want to throw.)
BDJBD = Batdrop Jump Batdrop (Use a batdrop, rejump and after the bat hits the bag, catch and drop it again for a BDJBD.)
DBD = Double Batdrop (Use a batdrop and after the bat hits the bag, catch and drop it again for a DBD.)
BTD-BD = Batthrow Down Batdrop (Throw the bat down when you're in the air and press Z twice to drop the bat again.)
BD-BTD = Batdrop Batthrow Down (Batdrop and press Z twice while tilting downwards to preform a BD-BTD.)
DBTD = Double Battrhow Down (Some characters can DBTD. It's not that commonly used. Porbably due to maxing issues.)
Glide tossing is a pretty big subject. I'll give you a little Glide Toss guide so you can search up how to use them. They come in quite handy. DBDs are very often used in HRC. They are fast, not hard to preform and you can add a jab to stop the bat from moving or an aerial to make the attack even stronger. Sometimes people DBD with L-Z. By pressing L followed by Z, very fast. Personally this works better than L+Z at the same time for me. BD-BTD, BTD-BD and DBTD can also be preformed with L-Z. You can also use R-Z, L-A or R-A to do this.
Now we have done the semi-advanced batmoves, lets move on to the harder stuff.
Advanced Batmoves [ADB]
TBD = Triple Batdrop (Preform a DBD using Z and follow up with L-Z fast. Sometimes pause is used.)
BD-BTD-BD = Batdrop-Batthrow Down-Batdrop (Use a BD and L-Z while tilting down. Release the analog stick and press L-Z.)
DBDJBD = Double Batdrop Jump Batdrop (Preform a DBD using Z and Jump, followed with a batdrop using double Z or L-Z.)
BDJDBD = Batdrop Jump Double Batdrop (Preform a BD and Jump, followed with a DBD. Rarely used.)
DBDJDBD = Double Batdrop Jump Double Batdrop (Preform a DBD and Jump, followed with another DBD. Rarely used.)
TBDSHDBD = Triple Batdrop Short Hop Double Batdrop
(I. C. only. Batdrop and press L-Z to TBD. Upon landing, immediately Short Hop and press L-Z. Often referred to as QiBDs)
TBDSHQuBD = Triple Batdrop Short Hop Quintuple Batdrop
(I. C. Only. Batdrop and press L-Z to TBD. Upon landing, immidiatelly Short Hop and press Z-Z followed by a L-Z.)
That's that for the batmoves. Pause can be used to speed up the TBDSHDBD and TBDSHQuBD process. People have been talking about QuBDs but not one has ever been preformed without using a TBD beforehand. DBDJBD is sometimes referred to as TBD aerial. The TBDSHQuBD is recently discovered by NerdFunky and does circa 92% damage. This astonishing amount of damage in such a short period of time enables strategies to go well above 300% damage before swinging the bat. This may be referred to as SpBD. (Septuple Batdrop, meaning 7. Why not SBD you ask? Because 6 is Sextuple and that'd also be SBD. This will be changed into SxBD when used.)
Next up are some finisher acronyms used in HRC.
Finishers [FI]
FCFS = Fully Charged Forward Smash (Sometimes used by Luigi, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Dedede, Olimar, Charizard and Ike.)
FCDS = Fully Charged Down Smash (Sometimes used by Donkey Kong.)
BoTU = Bomb Throw Up (Often used by Peach. Press D_B to pull a bomb, you get around 1 bomb each 300 pulls.)
TWP = Turn Warlock Punch (Often used by Ganondorf in combination with a BTU.)
TFP = Turn Falcon Punch (Often used by Captain Falcon in combination with a soft BTU.)
Co-op tipper (Sometimes used by Ice Climbers. Combining an Fsmash with a batswing.)
JH9 = Judgment Hammer 9 (Often used by Mr Game and Watch. Use F_B to do the JH. Luck Based.)
FCNB = Fully Charged Neutral B (Only used in Co-op by Ness. Charge B and release when it's just above the ground.)
Make Nana hold the bat and Fsmash. Release your Fsmash so it hits before Nana's batswing. Chances you get the JH9 for Game and Watch are 1 out of 7 Since you can't get a JH1 or JH2 on your first go. That's that for HRC. If I missed anything let me know and I'll add it. Let's move on the BtT. BtT hasn't got as many techniques as HRC does, but I will handle as much as I can.
BtT Overall [BO]
Easy = Stage/Level 1 (No items, big blue targets. Perfect for beginners and just as good for experienced players.)
Normal = stage/Level 2 (Several items, pretty big green targets. Not ideal for beginners.)
Hard = Stage/Level 3 (Several items, a boost and a spring. Medium sized yellow targets. Hard for beginners.)
Very Hard = Stage/Level 4 (No items, small orange targets. Big stage. Hard for beginners and experienced players.)
Intense = Stage/Level 5 (Several items and spikes. Tiny red targets. Hard for beginners and experienced players.)
T1 - T10 = Target 1 - Target 10 (The order of the targets broken when explaining a strat.)
Some items in this mode have acronyms. They aren't used as much as the HRC Acronyms.
BtT Items [BI]
CL = Cracker Launcher (A very important item on the stages 2 and 5. Very useful but hard to control.)
SB = Smart Bomb (A very important item on the stages 2 and 3. Throw to use. Causes a big explosion.)
BS = Beam Sword (A pretty useful item. Capable of destroying multiple targets on its way.)
Sometimes Beam Swords are pulled with Peach on Stage 1 to break 2 more targets than you could with a turnip. odds are about 1 in 300 pulls. BtT uses some ATs to preform some moves faster. AT = Advanced Technique, in case you didn't know. I'll list a few with their meaning below.
ATs [AT]
DACUS = Dash Attack Canceled Up Smash (Used by Snake on lvl 1, and by Wario and Jigglypuff on lvl 4.)
ISJR = Infinite Second Jump Recovery (Used by Bowser on lvl 1. Use your F_B in the air and before hitting the ground, jump.)
Magnet Pull (Used by Lucas on lvl 1. Use your F_B immediately followed up with a D_B in the air.)
Zap Jumping (Used by Lucas on lvl 2 and 3 for TSS.)
To DACUS, Dash and press C-stick down combined with Analog stick up. Zap jumping is used by Lucas to TSS. To preform it, you Jump and Tap jump again, quickly followed up by an up throw of the item. DI yourself to death for the top kill. That's already it for BtT. Next up is MMB. Which doesn't have many acronyms, just like BtT. Again, I'll do my best to make the list as big as possible.
Multi Man Brawl [MMB]
TA = Trigger Alloy (Used in 10MB. This is the alloy that needs to be killed as fast as possible, with top priority.)
AAD = Advanced Air Dodge (Mainly used in CB. Let go of the ledge, jump and airdodge immediately.)
BF = Battlefield (The stage MMB is played on.)
PC = Pause Cancel (Press start before a clone spawns to speed up the loading process.)
Fan strats (When obtained a fan, stand on a platform and throw it up and spam Utilt to effectively kill.)
Clone (The computer controlled enemy which is the same as the one you're playing with at that time.)
The Trigger Alloy is the Blue Alloy spawning on the top right corner. If you AAD correctly you'll get a vertical boost and be safe from the alloys. PC is used in 100MB, 3MB, 15MB and EB. Press start when a clone is about to spawn and let the wii load it while you're on the pause screen. This'll speed up the loading process.
Thanks for reading this guide!
Thanks to ISMFOF, Mario133, No1 inparticular, DWM and SW-1988 for reminding me of acronyms, explaining me some acronyms and basically helping me make this guide. I hope this guide will help many people, as well beginning players as experienced players, understand Stadium just a bit better. This guide will probably be updated with all sorts of new or unlisted acronyms. I will take care of that. I hope you learned something reading this blog.

PS; I needed to crop some of the text to fit it all in. Sorry for the small text, I hope it's still readable.
You can also press Ctrl and scroll up. This will zoom the page in making it perfectly readable. At least that works for FireFox.
